I’ve been carrying my Fujitsu Stylistic 5010 everywhere for the last six months. My laptops are so untouched that I’m not sure where the all power supplies are. I don’t think I’m going back, guys. This tablet is the best piece of computing technology I’ve owned in the past few years, no hands down.

I’m giving serious consideration to springing for a dock. For now, here’s how I use it:

- Travel stand (a folding metal frame to hold it up on a desk)
- Plantronics DSP-400 headset for music and voice recognition
- USB keyboard

When I’m at my desk, I keep a 7-port Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Hub and also plug in an external 1280 x 1024 display. The video support handles creating a single large desktop (2000 x 1000) although there is a performance hit (things are a bit slower with both screens).

I still get a little over 4 hours on a battery, and I keep meaning to change the screen protector but it’s held up remarkably well.

I carry it in a padded sleeve (from my Tom Bihn bag) inside a knapsack (lighter than the Bihn bag, and smaller).

People still respond to it with oohs and aahs, and I’m amazed that more people aren’t using them yet. But I want to go get a second one to have around in case anything happens to this one.
