So far, I really like Trend Micro’s PC-Cillin security product. It combines anti-virus, personal firewall, and spyware checker all in a compact and lightweight package. It’s memory footprint and processing overhead feel much better than McAfee’s overfed processes.
The proof will be in the protection, but it consistently scored higher on tests than most other products and I appreciate its interface. Registration was a pain, because you have to do it and it was very slow and a bit flakey, but once through it (with patience) the rest of setup was a breeze.
