Fujitsu Stylistic 5010D Tablet PC

So I basically love this thing. It’s not perfect, but it’s very good. Even a short period of using it reveals a number of obviously frustrating shortcomings, but they are only meaningful in the context of how successful the slate PC can be.

Digital Hand writing

This is pretty cool. l am writing this text using my Wacom tablet and XP’S built-in recognizer. Without training!

l am going to have to start writing nice things about Microsoft. l am just winging it without reading any manuals. Clearly, neatness counts.

It’s doing all the O-R persistence for my Java classes on a new project and I’m very happy with it. I’ve included a short sample that relies on XDoclet’s Hibernate tags to simplify the mapping file generation.
