How to Set IE Icons for Your Page

This is another one of those little tidbits that I refuse to memorize, but need around periodically.

To create a custom icon, place this in the head section of your page:

or try Google for “.ico icon shortcut ie”:

http://www.google.com/search?q=.ico%20icon%20shortcut%20ie

And of course, you’ll need to create a .ico file with the image in it. There are various types and resolutions, poke around.
